As it's egg I'd just say to cook it first and don't keep them frozen more than a few weeks. With regards to the google reader thing hmmm the images are mostly 1024 and end up being resized via CSS hence the issue in google reader I'm guessing hadn't thought of that :( Given both my monitors are 1920x1080 I guess the max the image ends up being is 770px wide so will reduce size to that in future for the images though that's probably still too big for google reader. I do like putting up larger size images as the blog is a bit of an experiment in taking better photos as well.
